update of the last few weeks

I've been slacking off a bit on my blog, so here is a quick update of what we've been up to the last few weeks.

You have to love a 2-year old. This is what happens when one encounters a brand new full box of Kleenex.

Kylie is obsessed with Dora the Explorer right now. It is all she wants to watch (thank goodness for DVDs and DVR), and she would wear her Dora shirt every day if I let her. She also has a plate & bowl that she insists on using every day and a backpack she wears around the house. We just bought her Dora sandals, swimsuit, panties (trying to start potty training), and a toothbrush.

Trevor had his first Jr. Jazz basketball game March 5th, his team came from behind to win by 1 on a last second shot. It was the most exciting Jr. Jazz game I've ever seen.

We had another pretty good snow storm in Wendover on March 9th with big fluffy flakes. Kylie wanted to go out in it, but I preferred to stay inside where it was warm, so we watched out the window. (Gotta love the bed-head hair!)

I find it entertaining to see where and in what positions my kids will fall asleep - they are not particular and will sleep anywhere. Here Logan fell asleep watching Trevor playing Wii. He woke up after a bit (arms were probably tired) and then fell back asleep like this. Funny boy!

Pete made this ribbon shelf for my scrapbook area. I had seen one like it at Oriental Trading that was only 2 feet long for $30 but just couldn't justify spending that much. I showed it to Pete and he said he could easily make something like that. I ended up with a shelf twice as long for half as much money. I love having a handy husband!

Glad to see you're still alive! My neighbor gives her one and two year olds a box of kleenex for their birthdays, just so they can pull all the tissues out of the box, one by one. And I love that shelf Pete made for you! Now if I could only get my hands on your ribbon collection!

Hey, points for Pete!! How did you get him to make that for you? Is he bringing me one when you visit??? ha-ha. Can't wait to see you. Cleaning my craft room is on my list before you show up. See you soon.

Wow. I can't believe that Trevor is old enough to play Jr. Jazz! They are growing up fast.

I Love that ribbon shelf that Pete made for you. You should totally have him make one for your mom for Christmas. She would love it for her new craft room, or is that just her new sewing room? Anyways. Your kids are so cute. I love the picture of everyone at Poppys.
